³⁰The surviving remnant^(A) of the house of Israel will again take root downward and bear fruit upward.

2 Kings 19:30

New International Version

³⁰Once more a remnant^(A) of the kingdom of Judah
will take root^(B) below and bear fruit above.

³⁰And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

⁹If the Lord of Hosts^(A)
had not left us a few survivors,^(B)
we would be like Sodom,
we would resemble Gomorrah.^(C)

⁹Unless the Lord Almighty
had left us some survivors,^(A)
we would have become like Sodom,
we would have been like Gomorrah.^(B)

⁹Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
