Nebuchadnezzar Besieges Jerusalem

25 ^(A)Now in the ninth year of his reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, ^(B)Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, camped against it, and ^(C)built a siege wall all around ^[a]it.

Jerusalem Captured

39 ^[a]Now when Jerusalem was captured ^[b](A)in the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came to Jerusalem and laid siege to it;

Parable of the Boiling Pot

24 Now the word of the Lord came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, saying, ² “Son of man, write the name of the day, this very day. The king of Babylon ^[a]has ^(A)laid siege to Jerusalem this very day.

¹⁹ “The Lord of armies says this: ‘The fast of the ^(A)fourth, the fast of the ^(B)fifth, the fast of the ^(C)seventh, and the fast of the ^(D)tenth months will become ^(E)joy, jubilation, and ^[a]cheerful festivals for the house of Judah; so ^(F)love truth and peace.’
