10 The entire Babylonian army that was with the captain of the guard tore down the walls around Jerusalem.
11 Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, captured the few people left in the city, those who surrendered to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the population. 12 The captain of the guard left some of the poorest people in the land to work in the vineyards and on the farms.

New International Version
10 The whole Babylonian army under the commander of the imperial guard broke down the walls(A) around Jerusalem. 11 Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard carried into exile(B) the people who remained in the city, along with the rest of the populace and those who had deserted to the king of Babylon.(C) 12 But the commander left behind some of the poorest people(D) of the land to work the vineyards and fields.
