⁴ David was ^(A)thirty years old when he began to reign, and ^(B)he reigned forty years.

⁵ In Hebron he reigned over Judah ^(A)seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.

The Close of David’s Reign

²⁶ Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

^27 (A)And the period that he reigned over Israel was forty years; ^(B)seven years he reigned in Hebron, and thirty-three years he reigned in Jerusalem.
