^14 (A)I will be his Father, and he shall be ^(B)My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men and with the ^[a]blows of the sons of men.

¹⁵ But My mercy shall not depart from him, ^(A)as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.

^17 (A)And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, ^(B)“This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

¹¹ Then a voice came from heaven, ^(A)“You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

²² And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am ^(A)well pleased.”
