12 In the Lord Jesus Christ, we command and urge these people to work quietly and eat their own bread.
13 But you, brothers, do not grow weary of doing good. 14 And if anyone does not obey our word in this letter, take note of him so that you do not associate with him, in order that he may be put to shame.

12 Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ(A) to settle down and earn the food they eat.(B) 13 And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good.(C)
14 Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them,(D) in order that they may feel ashamed.(E)
