2 And the things (A)which you have heard from me in the presence of (B)many witnesses, (C)entrust these to (D)faithful men who will be (E)able to teach others also. 3 (F)Suffer hardship with me, as a good (G)soldier of (H)Christ Jesus. 4 No soldier in active service (I)entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.

2 And the things you have heard me say(A) in the presence of many witnesses(B) entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. 3 Join with me in suffering,(C) like a good soldier(D) of Christ Jesus. 4 No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.
