5 And also if one competes [in an athletic contest], he is not crowned unless he competes lawfully. 6 The laboring farmer must[a] be first to receive-a-share of the fruits. 7 Be considering what I am saying, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.

5 Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown(A) except by competing according to the rules. 6 The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops.(B) 7 Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.
