7 always learning and never being able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 And the way Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, in this manner these also oppose the truth— people having been corrupted as to the mind, disapproved with respect to the faith. 9 But they will not advance further, for their folly will be very-evident to everyone, as also the folly of those two came-to-be[a].

New International Version
7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.(A) 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses,(B) so also these teachers oppose(C) the truth. They are men of depraved minds,(D) who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men,(E) their folly will be clear to everyone.
