⁶ One nation was being crushed by another and one city by another,^(A) because God was troubling them with every kind of distress.

²² I will overturn^(A) royal thrones and shatter the power of the foreign kingdoms.^(B) I will overthrow chariots^(C) and their drivers; horses and their riders^(D) will fall, each by the sword of his brother.^(E)

¹³ On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic.^(A) They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another.^(B)
