29 (A)So we sod my son, and did eat him: and I said to her the day after, Give thy son, that we may eat him, but she hath hid her son.
30 And when the king had heard the words of the woman, he rent his clothes, (and as he went upon the wall, the people looked, and behold, he had sackcloth [a]within [b]upon his flesh)
31 And he said, God do so to me and more also, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day.
