6 Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;^(A)

¹¹He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

¹¹He made darkness his covering,^(A) his canopy^(B) around him—
the dark rain clouds of the sky.
