2 Corinthians 9:6-11
English Standard Version
The Cheerful Giver
6 The point is this: (A)whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully[a] will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, (B)not reluctantly or under compulsion, for (C)God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And (D)God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency[b] in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 9 As it is written,
(E)“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever.”
10 He who supplies (F)seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and (G)increase the harvest of your righteousness. 11 (H)You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which (I)through us will produce thanksgiving to God.

Generosity Encouraged
6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.(A) 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give,(B) not reluctantly or under compulsion,(C) for God loves a cheerful giver.(D) 8 And God is able(E) to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need,(F) you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written:
10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food(I) will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.(J) 11 You will be enriched(K) in every way so that you can be generous(L) on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.(M)

1 Corinthians 3:11-18
English Standard Version
11 For no one can lay a (A)foundation other (B)than that which is laid, (C)which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— 13 (D)each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed (E)by fire, and (F)the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, (G)he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, (H)but only as through fire.
16 (I)Do you not know that you[a] are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For (J)God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
18 (K)Let no one deceive himself. (L)If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.

1 Corinthians 3:11-18
New International Version
11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.(A) 12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is,(B) because the Day(C) will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.(D) 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.(E) 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.(F)
16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple(G) and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?(H) 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
18 Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise(I) by the standards of this age,(J) you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.
