12 from [a]Aram, (A)Moab, (B)the sons of Ammon, (C)the Philistines, (D)Amalek, and from the spoils of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.

13 So (E)David made a name for himself when he returned from [b]killing eighteen thousand [c]Arameans in (F)the Valley of Salt. 14 He also put garrisons in Edom. In all Edom he put garrisons, and (G)all the Edomites became servants to David. And (H)the Lord helped David wherever he went.
