4 But some of the people in the city agreed with the Jews. Others believed the apostles. So the city was divided.
5 Some non-Jewish people, some Jews, and some of their rulers wanted to harm Paul and Barnabas by killing them with stones. 6 When Paul and Barnabas learned about this, they went to Lystra and Derbe, cities in Lycaonia, and to the areas around those cities.

4 The people of the city were divided; some sided with the Jews, others with the apostles.(A) 5 There was a plot afoot among both Gentiles and Jews,(B) together with their leaders, to mistreat them and stone them.(C) 6 But they found out about it and fled(D) to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe and to the surrounding country,
