14 Then immediately (A)the brothers sent Paul out to go as far as the sea; and (B)Silas and (C)Timothy remained there. 15 Now (D)those who escorted Paul brought him as far as (E)Athens; and after receiving a command for (F)Silas and Timothy to (G)come to him as soon as possible, they left.
In Athens
16 Now while Paul was waiting for them at (H)Athens, his spirit was being provoked within him as he was observing the city full of idols.

14 The believers(A) immediately sent Paul to the coast, but Silas(B) and Timothy(C) stayed at Berea. 15 Those who escorted Paul brought him to Athens(D) and then left with instructions for Silas and Timothy to join him as soon as possible.(E)

16 While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols.
