24 Now a Jew named (A)Apollos, an (B)Alexandrian by birth, [a]an eloquent man, came to (C)Ephesus; and he was proficient in the Scriptures.

12 Now I mean this, that (A)each one of you is saying, “I am [a]with Paul,” [b]or “I am [c]with (B)Apollos,” [d]or “I am [e]with [f](C)Cephas,” [g]or “I am [h]with Christ.”

What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? (A)Servants through whom you believed, even (B)as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. (C)I planted, (D)Apollos watered, but (E)God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. Now the one who plants and the one who waters are one; but each will (F)receive his own [a]reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s (G)fellow workers; you are God’s [b](H)field, God’s (I)building.

10 According to (J)the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder (K)I laid a foundation, and (L)another is building on it. But each person must be careful how he builds on it. 11 For no one can lay a (M)foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, 13 (N)each one’s work will become evident; for (O)the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test [c]the quality of each one’s work. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it remains, he will (P)receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet only (Q)so as through fire.

16 (R)Do you not know that (S)you are a [d]temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone destroys the [e]temple of God, God will destroy [f]that person; for the [g]temple of God is holy, [h]and that is what you are.

18 (T)Take care that no one deceives himself. (U)If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in (V)this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise. 19 For (W)the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the sight of God. For it is written: “He is (X)the one who catches the wise by their craftiness”; 20 and again, “(Y)The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are useless.” 21 So then, (Z)no one is to be boasting in people. For (AA)all things belong to you, 22 (AB)whether Paul or Apollos or [i]Cephas, or the world or (AC)life or death, or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, 23 and (AD)you belong to Christ, and (AE)Christ belongs to God.
