Acts 19:19-21

19 and many of those who practiced magic brought together their[a] books and[b] burned them[c] up in the sight of everyone. And they counted up their value and found it was fifty thousand silver coins.[d] 20 In this way the word of the Lord was growing in power and was prevailing.

21 Now when these things were completed, Paul resolved in the Spirit to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia, saying, “After I have been there, it is necessary for me to see Rome also.”

New International Version
19 A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas.[a] 20 In this way the word of the Lord(A) spread widely and grew in power.(B)
21 After all this had happened, Paul decided[b] to go to Jerusalem,(C) passing through Macedonia(D) and Achaia.(E) “After I have been there,” he said, “I must visit Rome also.”(F)
