10 After we had stayed there for a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 When he came to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own feet and hands with it, and said, “This is what the Holy Spirit says: ‘This is the way the Jews at Jerusalem will bind the man who owns this belt and will deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”
12 When we heard this, both we and the local residents urged Paul not to go up to Jerusalem.

10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus(A) came down from Judea. 11 Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says,(B) ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind(C) the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”(D)
12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem.
