^6 (A)And now I stand and am judged for the hope of ^(B)the promise made by God to our fathers. ⁷ To this promise ^(C)our twelve tribes, earnestly serving God ^(D)night and day, ^(E)hope to attain. For this hope’s sake, King Agrippa, I am accused by the Jews. ⁸ Why should it be thought incredible by you that God raises the dead?

²³ But ^(A)each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

⁵ But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
