Acts 8:29-31

²⁹Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and enjoin this chariot.”

³⁰And Philip ran there, and heard him read the Prophet Isaiah, and said, “But do you understand what you read?”

³¹And he said, “How can I unless I have a guide?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.

²⁹The Spirit told^(A) Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.”

³⁰Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.

³¹“How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
