12 Then when[a] the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, because he[b] was astounded at the teaching about[c] the Lord.

13 Now Paul and his companions[d] put out to sea from Paphos and[e] came to Perga in Pamphylia, but John departed from them and[f] returned to Jerusalem. 14 And they went on from Perga and[g] arrived at Pisidian Antioch. And they entered into the synagogue on the day of the Sabbath and[h] sat down.
