1 Verba Amos, qui fuit in pastoribus de Thecue, quae vidit super Israel in diebus Oziae, regis Juda, et in diebus Jeroboam, filii Joas, regis Israel, ante duos annos terraemotus.
2 Et dixit: Dominus de Sion rugiet, et de Jerusalem dabit vocem suam; et luxerunt speciosa pastorum, et exsiccatus est vertex Carmeli.
3 Haec dicit Dominus: Super tribus sceleribus Damasci, et super quatuor non convertam eum, eo quod trituraverint in plaustris ferreis Galaad.
4 Et mittam ignem in domum Azael, et devorabit domos Benadad.
5 Et conteram vectem Damasci: et disperdam habitatorem de campo idoli, et tenentem sceptrum de domo voluptatis: et transferetur populus Syriae Cyrenen, dicit Dominus.
6 Haec dicit Dominus: Super tribus sceleribus Gazae, et super quatuor non convertam eum, eo quod transtulerint captivitatem perfectam, ut concluderent eam in Idumaea.
7 Et mittam ignem in murum Gazae, et devorabit aedes ejus.
8 Et disperdam habitatorem de Azoto, et tenentem sceptrum de Ascalone: et convertam manum meam super Accaron, et peribunt reliqui Philisthinorum, dicit Dominus Deus.
9 Haec dicit Dominus: Super tribus sceleribus Tyri, et super quatuor non convertam eum, eo quod concluserint captivitatem perfectam in Idumaea, et non sint recordati foederis fratrum.
10 Et mittam ignem in murum Tyri, et devorabit aedes ejus.
11 Haec dicit Dominus: Super tribus sceleribus Edom, et super quatuor non convertam eum, eo quod persecutus sit in gladio fratrem suum, et violaverit misericordiam ejus, et tenuerit ultra furorem suum, et indignationem suam servaverit usque in finem.
12 Mittam ignem in Theman, et devorabit aedes Bosrae.
13 Haec dicit Dominus: Super tribus sceleribus filiorum Ammon, et super quatuor non convertam eum, eo quod dissecuerit praegnantes Galaad ad dilatandum terminum suum.
14 Et succendam ignem in muro Rabba, et devorabit aedes ejus in ululatu in die belli, et in turbine in die commotionis.
15 Et ibit Melchom in captivitatem, ipse et principes ejus simul, dicit Dominus.
2 Haec dicit Dominus: Super tribus sceleribus Moab, et super quatuor non convertam eum, eo quod incenderit ossa regis Idumaeae usque ad cinerem.
2 Et mittam ignem in Moab, et devorabit aedes Carioth: et morietur in sonitu Moab, in clangore tubae.
3 Et disperdam judicem de medio ejus, et omnes principes ejus interficiam cum eo, dicit Dominus.
4 Haec dicit Dominus: Super tribus sceleribus Juda, et super quatuor non convertam eum, eo quod abjecerit legem Domini et mandata ejus non custodierit: deceperant enim eos idola sua, post quae abierant patres eorum.
5 Et mittam ignem in Juda, et devorabit aedes Jerusalem.
6 Haec dicit Dominus: Super tribus sceleribus Israel, et super quatuor non convertam eum, pro eo quod vendiderit pro argento justum, et pauperem pro calceamentis.
7 Qui conterunt super pulverem terrae capita pauperum, et viam humilium declinant: et filius ac pater ejus ierunt ad puellam, ut violarent nomen sanctum meum.
8 Et super vestimentis pignoratis accubuerunt juxta omne altare, et vinum damnatorum bibebant in domo Dei sui.
9 Ego autem exterminavi Amorrhaeum a facie eorum, cujus altitudo, cedrorum altitudo ejus, et fortis ipse quasi quercus; et contrivi fructum ejus desuper, et radices ejus subter.
10 Ego sum qui ascendere vos feci de terra AEgypti, et duxi vos in deserto quadraginta annis, ut possideretis terram Amorrhaei.
11 Et suscitavi de filiis vestris in prophetas, et de juvenibus vestris nazaraeos. Numquid non ita est, filii Israel? dicit Dominus.
12 Et propinabitis nazaraeis vinum, et prophetis mandabitis, dicentes: Ne prophetetis.
13 Ecce ego stridebo subter vos, sicut stridet plaustrum onustum foeno.
14 Et peribit fuga a veloce, et fortis non obtinebit virtutem suam, et robustus non salvabit animam suam:
15 et tenens arcum non stabit, et velox pedibus suis non salvabitur, et ascensor equi non salvabit animam suam:
16 et robustus corde inter fortes nudus fugiet in illa die, dicit Dominus.
3 Audite verbum quod locutus est Dominus super vos, filii Israel, super omnem cognationem quam eduxi de terra AEgypti, dicens:
2 Tantummodo vos cognovi ex omnibus cognationibus terrae; idcirco visitabo super vos omnes iniquitates vestras.
3 Numquid ambulabunt duo pariter, nisi convenerit eis?
4 numquid rugiet leo in saltu, nisi habuerit praedam? numquid dabit catulus leonis vocem de cubili suo, nisi aliquid apprehenderit?
5 numquid cadet avis in laqueum terrae absque aucupe? numquid auferetur laqueus de terra antequam quid ceperit?
6 si clanget tuba in civitate, et populus non expavescet? si erit malum in civitate, quod Dominus non fecerit?
7 Quia non facit Dominus Deus verbum, nisi revelaverit secretum suum ad servos suos prophetas.
8 Leo rugiet, quis non timebit? Dominus Deus locutus est, quis non prophetabit?
9 Auditum facite in aedibus Azoti, et in aedibus terrae AEgypti, et dicite: Congregamini super montes Samariae, et videte insanias multas in medio ejus, et calumniam patientes in penetralibus ejus.
10 Et nescierunt facere rectum, dicit Dominus, thesaurizantes iniquitatem et rapinas in aedibus suis.
11 Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus: Tribulabitur et circuietur terra: et detrahetur ex te fortitudo tua, et diripientur aedes tuae.
12 Haec dicit Dominus: Quomodo si eruat pastor de ore leonis duo crura, aut extremum auriculae, sic eruentur filii Israel, qui habitant in Samaria in plaga lectuli, et in Damasci grabato.
13 Audite, et contestamini in domo Jacob, dicit Dominus Deus exercituum;
14 quia in die cum visitare coepero praevaricationes Israel, super eum visitabo, et super altaria Bethel; et amputabuntur cornua altaris, et cadent in terram.
15 Et percutiam domum hiemalem cum domo aestiva, et peribunt domus eburneae, et dissipabuntur aedes multae, dicit Dominus.
4 Audite verbum hoc, vaccae pingues, quae estis in monte Samariae, quae calumniam facitis egenis et confringitis pauperes; quae dicitis dominis vestris: Afferte, et bibemus.
2 Juravit Dominus Deus in sancto suo, quia ecce dies venient super vos, et levabunt vos in contis, et reliquias vestras in ollis ferventibus.
3 Et per aperturas exibitis altera contra alteram, et projiciemini in Armon, dicit Dominus.
4 Venite ad Bethel, et impie agite; ad Galgalam, et multiplicate praevaricationem: et afferte mane victimas vestras, tribus diebus decimas vestras.
5 Et sacrificate de fermentato laudem, et vocate voluntarias oblationes, et annuntiate; sic enim voluistis, filii Israel, dicit Dominus Deus.
6 Unde et ego dedi vobis stuporem dentium in cunctis urbibus vestris, et indigentiam panum in omnibus locis vestris; et non estis reversi ad me, dicit Dominus.
7 Ego quoque prohibui a vobis imbrem, cum adhuc tres menses superessent usque ad messem: et plui super unam civitatem, et super alteram civitatem non plui; pars una compluta est, et pars super quam non plui, aruit.
8 Et venerunt duae et tres civitates ad unam civitatem ut biberent aquam, et non sunt satiatae; et non redistis ad me, dicit Dominus.
9 Percussi vos in vento urente, et in aurugine: multitudinem hortorum vestrorum et vinearum vestrarum, oliveta vestra et ficeta vestra comedit eruca: et non redistis ad me, dicit Dominus.
10 Misi in vos mortem in via AEgypti; percussi in gladio juvenes vestros, usque ad captivitatem equorum vestrorum, et ascendere feci putredinem castrorum vestrorum in nares vestras: et non redistis ad me, dicit Dominus.
11 Subverti vos sicut subvertit Deus Sodomam et Gomorrham, et facti estis quasi torris raptus ab incendio: et non redistis ad me, dicit Dominus.
12 Quapropter haec faciam tibi, Israel: postquam autem haec fecero tibi, praeparare in occursum Dei tui, Israel.
13 Quia ecce formans montes, et creans ventum, et annuntians homini eloquium suum, faciens matutinam nebulam, et gradiens super excelsa terrae: Dominus Deus exercituum nomen ejus.
5 Audite verbum istud, quod ego levo super vos planctum: domus Israel cecidit, et non adjiciet ut resurgat.
2 Virgo Israel projecta est in terram suam, non est qui suscitet eam.
3 Quia haec dicit Dominus Deus: Urbs de qua egrediebantur mille, relinquentur in ea centum; et de qua egrediebantur centum, relinquentur in ea decem in domo Israel.
4 Quia haec dicit Dominus domui Israel: Quaerite me, et vivetis.
5 Et nolite quaerere Bethel, et in Galgalam nolite intrare, et in Bersabee non transibitis, quia Galgala captiva ducetur, et Bethel erit inutilis.
6 Quaerite Dominum, et vivite (ne forte comburatur ut ignis domus Joseph, et devorabit, et non erit qui extinguat Bethel:
7 qui convertitis in absinthium judicium, et justitiam in terra relinquitis):
8 facientem Arcturum et Orionem, et convertentem in mane tenebras, et diem in noctem mutantem; qui vocat aquas maris, et effundit eas super faciem terrae; Dominus nomen est ejus:
9 qui subridet vastitatem super robustum, et depopulationem super potentem affert.
10 Odio habuerunt corripientem in porta, et loquentem perfecte abominati sunt.
11 Idcirco, pro eo quod diripiebatis pauperem, et praedam electam tollebatis ab eo, domos quadro lapide aedificabitis, et non habitabitis in eis; vineas plantabis amantissimas, et non bibetis vinum earum.
12 Quia cognovi multa scelera vestra, et fortia peccata vestra: hostes justi, accipientes munus, et pauperes deprimentes in porta.
13 Ideo prudens in tempore illo tacebit, quia tempus malum est.
14 Quaerite bonum, et non malum, ut vivatis; et erit Dominus Deus exercituum vobiscum, sicut dixistis.
15 Odite malum et diligite bonum, et constituite in porta judicium: si forte misereatur Dominus Deus exercituum reliquiis Joseph.
16 Propterea haec dicit Dominus Deus exercituum, dominator: In omnibus plateis planctus; et in cunctis quae foris sunt, dicetur: Vae, vae! et vocabunt agricolam ad luctum, et ad planctum eos qui sciunt plangere.
17 Et in omnibus vineis erit planctus, quia pertransibo in medio tui, dicit Dominus.
18 Vae desiderantibus diem Domini! ad quid eam vobis? Dies Domini ista, tenebrae, et non lux.
19 Quomodo si fugiat vir a facie leonis, et occurrat ei ursus; et ingrediatur domum, et innitatur manu sua super parietem, et mordeat eum coluber.
20 Numquid non tenebrae dies Domini, et non lux; et caligo, et non splendor in ea?
21 Odi, et projeci festivitates vestras, et non capiam odorem coetuum vestrorum.
22 Quod si obtuleritis mihi holocautomata, et munera vestra, non suscipiam; et vota pinguium vestrorum non respiciam.
23 Aufer a me tumultum carminum tuorum; et cantica lyrae tuae non audiam.
24 Et revelabitur quasi aqua judicium, et justitia quasi torrens fortis.
25 Numquid hostias et sacrificium obtulistis mihi in deserto quadraginta annis, domus Israel?
26 et portastis tabernaculum Moloch vestro, et imaginem idolorum vestrorum, sidus dei vestri, quae fecistis vobis.
27 Et migrare vos faciam trans Damascum, dicit Dominus: Deus exercituum nomen ejus.

New International Version
1 The words of Amos, one of the shepherds of Tekoa(A)—the vision he saw concerning Israel two years before the earthquake,(B) when Uzziah(C) was king of Judah and Jeroboam(D) son of Jehoash[a] was king of Israel.(E)
2 He said:
“The Lord roars(F) from Zion
and thunders(G) from Jerusalem;(H)
the pastures of the shepherds dry up,
and the top of Carmel(I) withers.”(J)
Judgment on Israel’s Neighbors
3 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Damascus,(K)
even for four, I will not relent.(L)
Because she threshed Gilead
with sledges having iron teeth,
4 I will send fire(M) on the house of Hazael(N)
that will consume the fortresses(O) of Ben-Hadad.(P)
5 I will break down the gate(Q) of Damascus;
I will destroy the king who is in[b] the Valley of Aven[c]
and the one who holds the scepter in Beth Eden.(R)
The people of Aram will go into exile to Kir,(S)”
says the Lord.(T)
6 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Gaza,(U)
even for four, I will not relent.(V)
Because she took captive whole communities
and sold them to Edom,(W)
7 I will send fire on the walls of Gaza
that will consume her fortresses.
8 I will destroy the king[d] of Ashdod(X)
and the one who holds the scepter in Ashkelon.
I will turn my hand(Y) against Ekron,
till the last of the Philistines(Z) are dead,”(AA)
says the Sovereign Lord.(AB)
9 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Tyre,(AC)
even for four, I will not relent.(AD)
Because she sold whole communities of captives to Edom,
disregarding a treaty of brotherhood,(AE)
10 I will send fire on the walls of Tyre
that will consume her fortresses.(AF)”
11 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Edom,(AG)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because he pursued his brother with a sword(AH)
and slaughtered the women of the land,
because his anger raged continually
and his fury flamed unchecked,(AI)
12 I will send fire on Teman(AJ)
that will consume the fortresses of Bozrah.(AK)”
13 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Ammon,(AL)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because he ripped open the pregnant women(AM) of Gilead
in order to extend his borders,
14 I will set fire to the walls of Rabbah(AN)
that will consume(AO) her fortresses
amid war cries(AP) on the day of battle,
amid violent winds(AQ) on a stormy day.
15 Her king[e] will go into exile,
he and his officials together,(AR)”
says the Lord.(AS)
2 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Moab,(AT)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because he burned to ashes(AU)
the bones of Edom’s king,
2 I will send fire on Moab
that will consume the fortresses of Kerioth.[f](AV)
Moab will go down in great tumult
amid war cries(AW) and the blast of the trumpet.(AX)
3 I will destroy her ruler(AY)
and kill all her officials with him,”(AZ)
says the Lord.(BA)
4 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Judah,(BB)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because they have rejected the law(BC) of the Lord
and have not kept his decrees,(BD)
because they have been led astray(BE) by false gods,[g](BF)
the gods[h] their ancestors followed,(BG)
5 I will send fire(BH) on Judah
that will consume the fortresses(BI) of Jerusalem.(BJ)”
Judgment on Israel
6 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Israel,
even for four, I will not relent.(BK)
They sell the innocent for silver,
and the needy for a pair of sandals.(BL)
7 They trample on the heads of the poor
as on the dust of the ground
and deny justice to the oppressed.
Father and son use the same girl
and so profane my holy name.(BM)
8 They lie down beside every altar
on garments taken in pledge.(BN)
In the house of their god
they drink wine(BO) taken as fines.(BP)
9 “Yet I destroyed the Amorites(BQ) before them,
though they were tall(BR) as the cedars
and strong as the oaks.(BS)
I destroyed their fruit above
and their roots(BT) below.
10 I brought you up out of Egypt(BU)
and led(BV) you forty years in the wilderness(BW)
to give you the land of the Amorites.(BX)
11 “I also raised up prophets(BY) from among your children
and Nazirites(BZ) from among your youths.
Is this not true, people of Israel?”
declares the Lord.
12 “But you made the Nazirites drink wine
and commanded the prophets not to prophesy.(CA)
13 “Now then, I will crush you
as a cart crushes when loaded with grain.(CB)
14 The swift will not escape,(CC)
the strong(CD) will not muster their strength,
and the warrior will not save his life.(CE)
15 The archer(CF) will not stand his ground,
the fleet-footed soldier will not get away,
and the horseman(CG) will not save his life.(CH)
16 Even the bravest warriors(CI)
will flee naked on that day,”
declares the Lord.
Witnesses Summoned Against Israel
3 Hear this word, people of Israel, the word the Lord has spoken against you(CJ)—against the whole family I brought up out of Egypt:(CK)
2 “You only have I chosen(CL)
of all the families of the earth;
therefore I will punish(CM) you
for all your sins.(CN)”
3 Do two walk together
unless they have agreed to do so?
4 Does a lion roar(CO) in the thicket
when it has no prey?(CP)
Does it growl in its den
when it has caught nothing?
5 Does a bird swoop down to a trap on the ground
when no bait(CQ) is there?
Does a trap spring up from the ground
if it has not caught anything?
6 When a trumpet(CR) sounds in a city,
do not the people tremble?
When disaster(CS) comes to a city,
has not the Lord caused it?(CT)
7 Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing
without revealing his plan(CU)
to his servants the prophets.(CV)
8 The lion(CW) has roared(CX)—
who will not fear?
The Sovereign Lord has spoken—
who can but prophesy?(CY)
9 Proclaim to the fortresses of Ashdod(CZ)
and to the fortresses of Egypt:
“Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria;(DA)
see the great unrest within her
and the oppression among her people.”
10 “They do not know how to do right,(DB)” declares the Lord,
“who store up in their fortresses(DC)
what they have plundered(DD) and looted.”
11 Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“An enemy will overrun your land,
pull down your strongholds
and plunder your fortresses.(DE)”
12 This is what the Lord says:
“As a shepherd rescues from the lion’s(DF) mouth
only two leg bones or a piece of an ear,
so will the Israelites living in Samaria be rescued,
with only the head of a bed
and a piece of fabric[i] from a couch.[j](DG)”
13 “Hear this and testify(DH) against the descendants of Jacob,” declares the Lord, the Lord God Almighty.
14 “On the day I punish(DI) Israel for her sins,
I will destroy the altars of Bethel;(DJ)
the horns(DK) of the altar will be cut off
and fall to the ground.
15 I will tear down the winter house(DL)
along with the summer house;(DM)
the houses adorned with ivory(DN) will be destroyed
and the mansions(DO) will be demolished,(DP)”
declares the Lord.(DQ)
Israel Has Not Returned to God
4 Hear this word, you cows of Bashan(DR) on Mount Samaria,(DS)
you women who oppress the poor(DT) and crush the needy(DU)
and say to your husbands,(DV) “Bring us some drinks!(DW)”
2 The Sovereign Lord has sworn by his holiness:
“The time(DX) will surely come
when you will be taken away(DY) with hooks,(DZ)
the last of you with fishhooks.[k]
3 You will each go straight out
through breaches in the wall,(EA)
and you will be cast out toward Harmon,[l]”
declares the Lord.
4 “Go to Bethel(EB) and sin;
go to Gilgal(EC) and sin yet more.
Bring your sacrifices every morning,(ED)
your tithes(EE) every three years.[m](EF)
5 Burn leavened bread(EG) as a thank offering
and brag about your freewill offerings(EH)—
boast about them, you Israelites,
for this is what you love to do,”
declares the Sovereign Lord.
6 “I gave you empty stomachs in every city
and lack of bread in every town,
yet you have not returned to me,”
declares the Lord.(EI)
7 “I also withheld(EJ) rain from you
when the harvest was still three months away.
I sent rain on one town,
but withheld it from another.(EK)
One field had rain;
another had none and dried up.
8 People staggered from town to town for water(EL)
but did not get enough(EM) to drink,
yet you have not returned(EN) to me,”
declares the Lord.(EO)
9 “Many times I struck your gardens and vineyards,
destroying them with blight and mildew.(EP)
Locusts(EQ) devoured your fig and olive trees,(ER)
yet you have not returned(ES) to me,”
declares the Lord.
10 “I sent plagues(ET) among you
as I did to Egypt.(EU)
I killed your young men(EV) with the sword,
along with your captured horses.
I filled your nostrils with the stench(EW) of your camps,
yet you have not returned to me,”(EX)
declares the Lord.(EY)
11 “I overthrew some of you
as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.(EZ)
You were like a burning stick(FA) snatched from the fire,
yet you have not returned to me,”
declares the Lord.(FB)
12 “Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel,
and because I will do this to you, Israel,
prepare to meet your God.”
13 He who forms the mountains,(FC)
who creates the wind,(FD)
and who reveals his thoughts(FE) to mankind,
who turns dawn to darkness,
and treads on the heights of the earth(FF)—
the Lord God Almighty is his name.(FG)
A Lament and Call to Repentance
5 Hear this word, Israel, this lament(FH) I take up concerning you:
2 “Fallen is Virgin(FI) Israel,
never to rise again,
deserted in her own land,
with no one to lift her up.(FJ)”
3 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to Israel:
“Your city that marches out a thousand strong
will have only a hundred left;
your town that marches out a hundred strong
will have only ten left.(FK)”
4 This is what the Lord says to Israel:
“Seek(FL) me and live;(FM)
5 do not seek Bethel,
do not go to Gilgal,(FN)
do not journey to Beersheba.(FO)
For Gilgal will surely go into exile,
and Bethel will be reduced to nothing.[n](FP)”
6 Seek(FQ) the Lord and live,(FR)
or he will sweep through the tribes of Joseph like a fire;(FS)
it will devour them,
and Bethel(FT) will have no one to quench it.(FU)
7 There are those who turn justice into bitterness(FV)
and cast righteousness(FW) to the ground.(FX)
8 He who made the Pleiades and Orion,(FY)
who turns midnight into dawn(FZ)
and darkens day into night,(GA)
who calls for the waters of the sea
and pours them out over the face of the land—
the Lord is his name.(GB)
9 With a blinding flash he destroys the stronghold
and brings the fortified city to ruin.(GC)
10 There are those who hate the one who upholds justice in court(GD)
and detest the one who tells the truth.(GE)
11 You levy a straw tax on the poor(GF)
and impose a tax on their grain.
Therefore, though you have built stone mansions,(GG)
you will not live in them;(GH)
though you have planted lush vineyards,
you will not drink their wine.(GI)
12 For I know how many are your offenses
and how great your sins.(GJ)
There are those who oppress the innocent and take bribes(GK)
and deprive the poor(GL) of justice in the courts.(GM)
13 Therefore the prudent keep quiet(GN) in such times,
for the times are evil.(GO)
14 Seek good, not evil,
that you may live.(GP)
Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you,
just as you say he is.
15 Hate evil,(GQ) love good;(GR)
maintain justice in the courts.(GS)
Perhaps(GT) the Lord God Almighty will have mercy(GU)
on the remnant(GV) of Joseph.
16 Therefore this is what the Lord, the Lord God Almighty, says:
“There will be wailing(GW) in all the streets(GX)
and cries of anguish in every public square.
The farmers(GY) will be summoned to weep
and the mourners to wail.
17 There will be wailing(GZ) in all the vineyards,
for I will pass through(HA) your midst,”
says the Lord.(HB)
The Day of the Lord
18 Woe to you who long
for the day of the Lord!(HC)
Why do you long for the day of the Lord?(HD)
That day will be darkness,(HE) not light.(HF)
19 It will be as though a man fled from a lion
only to meet a bear,(HG)
as though he entered his house
and rested his hand on the wall
only to have a snake bite him.(HH)
20 Will not the day of the Lord be darkness,(HI) not light—
pitch-dark, without a ray of brightness?(HJ)
21 “I hate,(HK) I despise your religious festivals;(HL)
your assemblies(HM) are a stench to me.
22 Even though you bring me burnt offerings(HN) and grain offerings,
I will not accept them.(HO)
Though you bring choice fellowship offerings,
I will have no regard for them.(HP)
23 Away with the noise of your songs!
I will not listen to the music of your harps.(HQ)
24 But let justice(HR) roll on like a river,

25 “Did you bring me sacrifices(HU) and offerings
forty years(HV) in the wilderness, people of Israel?
26 You have lifted up the shrine of your king,
the pedestal of your idols,(HW)
the star of your god[o]—
which you made for yourselves.
27 Therefore I will send you into exile(HX) beyond Damascus,”
says the Lord, whose name is God Almighty.(HY)
