Amos 3:10-11

¹⁰The people are incapable of doing right^(A)—
this is the Lord’s declaration—
those who store up violence and destruction^(B)
in their citadels.

¹¹Therefore, the Lord God says:

An enemy^(C) will surround the land;
he will destroy^(D) your strongholds
and plunder your citadels.^(E)

Amos 3:10-11

¹⁰“They do not know how to do right,^(A)” declares the Lord,
“who store up in their fortresses^(B)
what they have plundered^(C) and looted.”

¹¹Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“An enemy will overrun your land,
pull down your strongholds
and plunder your fortresses.^(D)”
