And ^[a]throw righteousness to the earth.”

⁷There are those who turn justice into bitterness^(A)
and cast righteousness^(B) to the ground.^(C)

⁹Now hear this, you ^(A)heads of the house of Jacob
And rulers of the house of Israel,
Who ^(B)despise justice
And twist everything that is straight,

⁹Hear this, you leaders of Jacob,
you rulers of Israel,
who despise justice
