Colossians 3:6-8
Contemporary English Version
6 God is angry with people who disobey him by doing[a] these things. 7 And this is exactly what you did, when you lived among people who behaved in this way. 8 But now you must stop doing such things. You must quit being angry, hateful, and evil. You must no longer say insulting or cruel things about others.

6 Because of these, the wrath of God(A) is coming.[a] 7 You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.(B) 8 But now you must also rid yourselves(C) of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander,(D) and filthy language from your lips.(E)
