42 And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage,[a] but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay. 44 And in the days of those kings (A)the God of heaven will set up (B)a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. (C)It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and (D)it shall stand forever,

42 As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.
44 “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush(A) all those kingdoms(B) and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.(C)
