24 As for the (A)ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will [a]humble three kings. 25 And he will [b](B)speak against the (C)Most High and (D)wear down the [c]saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make (E)alterations in times and in law; and [d]they will be handed over to him for a [e](F)time, [f]times, and half a [g]time. 26 But the court will [h]convene for judgment, and his dominion will be (G)taken away, [i]annihilated and destroyed [j]forever.

24 The ten horns(A) are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. 25 He will speak against the Most High(B) and oppress his holy people(C) and try to change the set times(D) and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.[a](E)
