⁵ But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be ^(A)put to death, because he has spoken falsely against the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of ^[a]slavery, ^(B)to drive you from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. ^(C)So you shall eliminate the evil from among you.

¹⁶ Therefore, this is what the Lord says: ‘^(A)Behold, I am going to ^[a]remove you from the face of the earth. This year you are going to ^(B)die, because you ^(C)spoke falsely against the Lord.’”
