19 “Now therefore, (A)write this song for yourselves, and teach it to the sons of Israel; put it [a]on their lips, so that this song may be a witness for Me against the sons of Israel. 20 (B)For when I bring them into the land flowing with milk and honey, which I swore to their fathers, and they have eaten and are satisfied and (C)become [b]prosperous, then they will turn to other gods and serve them, and spurn Me and break My covenant. 21 Then it shall come about, (D)when many evils and troubles have come upon them, that this song will testify before them as a witness (for it shall not be forgotten from the [c]lips of their descendants); for (E)I know their intent which they are [d]developing today, before I have brought them into the land which I swore.”

19 “Now write(A) down this song and teach it to the Israelites and have them sing it, so that it may be a witness(B) for me against them. 20 When I have brought them into the land flowing with milk and honey, the land I promised on oath to their ancestors,(C) and when they eat their fill and thrive, they will turn to other gods(D) and worship them,(E) rejecting me and breaking my covenant.(F) 21 And when many disasters and calamities come on them,(G) this song will testify against them, because it will not be forgotten by their descendants.
