23 So watch yourselves, (A)that you do not forget the covenant of the Lord your God which He made with you, and (B)make for yourselves a graven image in the form of anything against which the Lord your God has commanded you. 24 For the Lord your God is a (C)consuming fire, a (D)jealous God.
25 “When you [a]become the father of children and children’s children and have remained long in the land, and (E)act corruptly, and (F)make an [b]idol in the form of anything, and (G)do that which is evil in the sight of the Lord your God so as to provoke Him to anger,

23 Be careful not to forget the covenant(A) of the Lord your God that he made with you; do not make for yourselves an idol(B) in the form of anything the Lord your God has forbidden. 24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire,(C) a jealous God.(D)
25 After you have had children and grandchildren and have lived in the land a long time—if you then become corrupt(E) and make any kind of idol,(F) doing evil(G) in the eyes of the Lord your God and arousing his anger,
