²⁶ I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that you will quickly perish^(A) from the land you are about to cross the Jordan to possess. You will not live long there, but you will certainly be destroyed.

²⁷ Therefore the Lord’s anger burned against this land, and He brought every curse written in this book on it.

²⁶ In spite of all that, the Lord did not turn from the fury of His great burning anger, which burned against Judah because of all that Manasseh had provoked Him with.^(A)
