Deuteronomy 4:26-28
New Living Translation
26 “Today I call on heaven and earth as witnesses against you. If you break my covenant, you will quickly disappear from the land you are crossing the Jordan to occupy. You will live there only a short time; then you will be utterly destroyed. 27 For the Lord will scatter you among the nations, where only a few of you will survive. 28 There, in a foreign land, you will worship idols made from wood and stone—gods that neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell.

New International Version
26 I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses(A) against you(B) this day that you will quickly perish(C) from the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess. You will not live there long but will certainly be destroyed. 27 The Lord will scatter(D) you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive(E) among the nations to which the Lord will drive you. 28 There you will worship man-made gods(F) of wood and stone,(G) which cannot see or hear or eat or smell.(H)
