2 Premye bagay yo fè, yo moute yon gwo tant: se te kote yo te mete apa pou sèvis Bondye a. Se la yo te mete gwo lanp sèt branch lan, tab la ansanm ak pen yo ofri bay Bondye yo.
3 Dèyè dezyèm rido a, te gen yon lòt ti tant pi piti. Se te kote yo te mete apa nèt pou Bondye menm lan.
4 Se la lotèl an lò a te ye ansanm ak Bwat kote yo te sere kontra a. Se sou lotèl la yo te konn boule lansan. Bwat la menm te kouvri nèt ak lò. Anndan l' yo te mete yon ti ja an lò tou ki te gen laman dezè a. Bò kote ti ja a, yo te mete baton Arawon an ki te fleri, ansanm ak de moso wòch plat kote yo te ekri pawòl kontra a.
5 Anwo bwat la, yo te mete estati de zanj yo te rele cheriben. Se te pou fè moun konnen Bondye la. Zèl zanj yo te louvri, yo te kouvri tout kote yo ofri bèt pou touye pou peche yo. Men, nou pa gen tan koulye a pou n' pale an detay sou bagay sa yo.
6 Lè tout bagay fin nan plas yo konsa, prèt yo gen pou yo antre chak jou nan premye tant lan pou fè sèvis.
7 Men, se granprèt la ase ki gen dwa antre nan dezyèm ti tant lan. Li fè l' yon sèl fwa chak lanne. Lè sa a, li pote san bèt yo te ofri bay Bondye a pou tèt pa l' ansanm ak pou peche pèp la fè san yo pa t' konnen.
8 ¶ Avèk tout aranjman sa yo, Sentespri fè nou wè chemen ki pou mennen nou kote Bondye ye a poko louvri toutotan premye tant la kanpe toujou.
9 Sa se yon siy pou te fè nou konprann davans sa k'ap pase koulye a. Sa vle di: pou moun k'ap fè sèvis sa yo, nanpwen kado yo ka fè Bondye, nanpwen ofrann bèt yo ka touye bay Bondye ki pou lave konsyans yo devan Bondye.
10 Nan tout bagay sa yo, se yon keksyon de sa ki bon pou manje, de sa ki bon pou bwè, de tout kalite seremoni pou yo fè pou lave deyò kò moun. Prensip sa yo vo kichòy jouk lè Bondye vin chanje tout bagay.
11 Men, Kris la vini deja tankou granprèt k'ap bay benediksyon ki gen pou vini yo. Tant kote l'ap fè sèvis li a pi gwo, pi bon lontan. Se pa moun ki te bati li. Tant sa a pa fè pati bagay ki sou latè.
12 Kris la pase nan tant lan, li antre kote yo mete apa pou Bondye a, li ofri san an yon sèl fwa devan Bondye epi li fini. Lè sa a, se pa t' san bouk kabrit ni san ti towo bèf li te ofri. Se san pa l' menm li te ofri. Se sak fè li antre yon sèl fwa a devan Bondye, li tou peye pou l' te ka delivre nou pou tout tan.
13 Si yo ka pran san bouk kabrit ak san towo bèf ansanm ak san vyann ti gazèl bèf yo boule sou lotèl la pou voye sou moun ki mete tèt yo nan kondisyon yo pa ka sèvi Bondye dapre lalwa, pou mete yo nan kondisyon pou yo fè sèvis Bondye,
14 nou pa bezwen mande kisa san Kris la p'ap fè. Avèk pouvwa Sentespri ki la tout tan an, li menm li ofri tèt li bay Bondye tankou yon ofrann bèt ki bon nèt, san okenn defo. Se konsa, san l' ap lave konsyans nou, l'ap delivre nou anba esklavaj lalwa k'ap touye nou an pou nou ka sèvi Bondye vivan an.
15 ¶ Se poutèt sa, Kris la se yon avoka ki tabli yon nouvo kontra ant Bondye ak lèzòm. Konsa, moun Bondye rele yo, yo ka resevwa eritaj ki la pou tout tan an, jan Bondye te pwomèt la. Tou sa, paske Kris la mouri. Avèk mouri li mouri a, li delivre tout moun anba chenn peche yo te fè sou premye kontra a.
16 Lè gen yon kontra osinon yon testaman, se pou yo bay prèv moun ki te fè l' la mouri byen mouri.
17 Paske, yon testaman pa vo anyen toutotan moun ki fè l' la vivan toujou. Lè moun ki fè l' la mouri, se lè sa a testaman an bon.
18 Se poutèt sa, menm pou premye kontra a se apre yo te fin fè san bèt yo te ofri yo koule li te bon.
19 Premye bagay Moyiz te fè, li te li tout kòmandman yo bay pèp la, jan sa ye nan lalwa a. Apre sa, li pran san ti towo bèf yo ak san bouk kabrit yo, li mele l' ak dlo, li pran yon branch izòp ak yon moso lenn wouj, li wouze Liv lalwa a ansanm ak tout pèp la avèk melanj la.
20 Lè sa a, li di: Sa se san ki sèvi pou siyen kontra Bondye mande pou nou kenbe a.
21 Moyiz voye san an sou tout tant lan, sou tout bagay ki sèvi nan tant lan.
22 Dapre lalwa, san an mete prèske tout bagay nan kondisyon pou fè sèvis Bondye. Si san pa koule, nanpwen padon pou peche yo.
23 ¶ Tout bagay sa yo se kopye Moyiz te kopye yo sou bagay tout bon ki nan syèl la. Si se pou yo te mete tout bagay sa yo ki yon senp pòtre bagay tout bon yo nan kondisyon pou fè sèvis Bondye konsa, bagay ki nan syèl la menm mande yon pi gwo kalite ofrann bèt toujou.
24 Kris la pa t' antre nan yon kay moun te bati pou Bondye sou modèl kay Bondye a. Li antre nan syèl la menm, kote li kanpe koulye a devan Bondye pou nou.
25 Granprèt jwif yo antre chak lanne nan kote ki apa pou Bondye menm lan avèk san bèt yo touye bay Bondye. Men, Kris la menm pa antre plizyè fwa pou ofri tèt li.
26 Si se pa t' sa, li ta blije soufri plizyè fwa tou depi lè Bondye te kreye tout bagay. Men, koulye a, lè tout bagay prèt pou fini, li parèt yon sèl fwa, li bay tèt li tankou bèt yo ofri pou wete tout peche, epi li fini.
27 Tout moun gen pou mouri yon sèl fwa, apre sa, Bondye gen pou jije yo.
28 Konsa tou, Kris la ofri tèt li pou li mouri yon sèl fwa pou wete peche anpil moun. Li gen pou l' tounen yon dezyèm fwa. Men, lè sa a, se p'ap pou wete peche nou, se va pou delivre tout moun k'ap tann li yo.

9 Premye pwomès la te gen yon seri règ pou moun respekte ak yon plas espesyal pou adore isit sou latè. 2 Plas adorasyon sa a te anndan yon tant. Premye pati tant lan te rele Kote ki Sen an. Nan Kote ki Sen an, te gen yon lanp ak yon tab kote yo te mete pen espesyal yo te ofri bay Bondye. 3 Pa dèyè dezyèm rido a, te gen yon lòt chanm yo rele Kote ki pi Sen an. 4 Nan Kote ki pi Sen an, te gen yon lotèl kouvri ak yo te sèvi pou boule lansan. Te gen Kòf kontra a tou ki te gen yon kouch lò sou tout kò l. Anndan Kòf la, te gen yon bokal an nò ki te gen lamàn ladan l, te gen baton Arawon an, baton ki te pouse boujon an, epi te gen de wòch plat ki te gen dis kòmannman ansyen kontra a ekri sou yo. 5 Anlè Kòf la, te gen imaj zanj ak zèl yo rele cheriben ki te sèvi kòm senbòl glwa Bondye. Zèl cheriben yo te sou tout kouvèti Kòf Pwomès la.[a] Men nou pa ka di tout bagay sou sa kounye a.
6 Tout bagay nan tant lan te fin byen pare konsa, prèt yo te antre nan premye chanm tant lan pou yo fè travay yo chak jou. 7 Men se sèlman granprèt yo ki te ka antre nan dezyèm chanm nan yon sèl fwa nan yon ane. E li pa t janm ka antre san l pa t gen san bèt nan men l. Se san sa a li te ofri bay Bondye pou peche pa l ak pou peche pèp la te komèt san yo pa konnen.
8 Sentespri te sèvi ak de chanm pou fè nou konnen wout pou nou antre Kote ki pi Sen an pa t ko ouvè toutotan premye chanm nan te egziste. 9 Sa se yon egzanp pou nou jodi a. Li montre nou tout ofrann ak sakrifis prèt yo t ap ofri bay Bondye pa t ka pirifye konsyans moun ki t ap patisipe nan adorasyon an. 10 Ofrann ak sakrifis nan ansyen sistèm nan te plis pase manje, bwason, ak divès seremoni pirifikasyon. Règ sa yo te valab jouktan Bondye te vini ak yon lòt sistèm tounèf.
Adorasyon sou Nouvo Pwomès la
11 Okontrè, Kris deja vini kòm granprèt. Li se granprèt tout kalite bon bagay nou gen kounye a. Men li pa fè sèvis nan menm kalite tant ak lòt prèt yo. L ap sèvi nan yon tant ki san fay. Se pa yon tant ki te fèt isit sou latè. Li pa fè pati mond sa a. 12 Kris te antre yon sèl fwa Kote ki pi Sen an. E li pa t bezwen fè l yon dezyèm fwa. Li te antre Kote ki pi Sen an avèk pwòp san li, li pa t ofri san bouk kabrit oswa san ti towo bèf. Li antre epi li delivre nou anba peche pou tout tan.
13 Anvan sa, san bouk kabrit, san towo bèf ak san femèl bèf yo te boule yo te sifi pou yo te rann moun ki pa t nan kondisyon pou fè adorasyon yo pwòp. Men sa te netwaye kò yo sèlman. 14 Pa gen okenn dout san Kris la ka fè plis toujou. Kris te ofri tèt li bay Bondye, pa mwayen Sentespri a ki te toujou la, tankou yon sakrifis san defo. San li ap netwaye nou nèt anba tout bagay mal nou te fè. L ap ban nou yon konsyans ki klè pou nou ka sèvi Bondye vivan an.
15 Se poutèt sa Kris negosye yon nouvo pwomès pou pèp li a. Konsa tout moun Bondye chwazi yo ap ka jwi eritaj etènèl Bondye te pwomèt yo. Sa posib paske Kris te mouri pou libere lèzòm anba peche yo te komèt lè yo te nan premye pwomès la.
16 Lè gen yon testaman,[b] li enpòtan pou gen prèv ki montre mèt testaman an mouri. 17 Yon testaman pa vo anyen toutotan mèt testaman an vivan. Se lè mèt testaman an mouri sèlman moun ap ka kòmanse aplike sa k ladan l. 18 Se sa k fè menm premye kontra a te bezwen san koule pou bay prèv te gen lanmò anvan moun te kòmanse aplike l. 19 Premye bagay Moyiz te fè, se te li tout kòmannman lalwa yo jan yo ye a. Apre sa, li te pran san jèn towo bèf yo,[c] li melanje l avèk dlo. Lè l fini, li sèvi ak yon moso lèn wouj avèk branch izòp pou l te ka simen kèk gout sou liv lalwa a ak sou tout pèp la. 20 Li di: “Sa a se san ki montre valè kontra Bondye mande pou n respekte a.”[d] 21 Menm jan an tou, Moyiz te simen san sou Tant lan tou ak tout sa yo te konn sèvi ladan l pou fè adorasyon Bondye. 22 Prèske tout bagay pirifye ak san selon lalwa Moyiz la. Moun pa ka jwenn padon pou peche yo si pa gen san ki koule.
Jezikri se sakrifis pou peche nou
23 Bagay sa yo se reprezantasyon bagay ki egziste nan syèl la tout bon vre. Yo te sèvi san bèt pou pirifye reprezantasyon sa yo. Men bagay ki reyèl yo bezwen pi bon sakrifis pou pirifye yo. 24 Kris te antre Kote ki pi Sen an, men se pa sa lèzòm te fè a. Sa lèzòm te fè a, se te yon reprezantasyon li te ye sèlman. Li te antre nan syèl la epi se la li ye kounye a, nan prezans Bondye, pou l defann koz nou.
25 Granprèt la antre Kote ki pi Sen an yon fwa chak ane. Li antre ak san bèt pou ofri kòm sakrifis. Men Kris pa t monte nan syèl pou ofri san li chak ane. 26 Si Kris te ofri tèt li plizyè fwa, li t ap bezwen soufri plizyè fwa depi kòmansman kreyasyon an. Men li te vini pou ofri tèt li yon sèl fwa pou tout. Li vini nan lè lemonn pa lwen rive nan bout li. Li ofri tèt li kòm sakrifis pou li retire tout peche.
27 Tout moun gen pou mouri yon sèl fwa. Apre sa, yo dwe pase nan jijman. 28 Menm jan an tou Kris ofri tèt li kòm sakrifis yon fwa pou tout, pou li kapab efase peche anpil moun. Li gen pou l parèt yon dezyèm fwa, men se pa pou l vin ofri tèt li pou peche, men pou l pote delivrans bay moun ki ap tann li kòm yon sakrifis.

Worship in the Earthly Tabernacle
9 Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary.(A) 2 A tabernacle(B) was set up. In its first room were the lampstand(C) and the table(D) with its consecrated bread;(E) this was called the Holy Place.(F) 3 Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place,(G) 4 which had the golden altar of incense(H) and the gold-covered ark of the covenant.(I) This ark contained the gold jar of manna,(J) Aaron’s staff that had budded,(K) and the stone tablets of the covenant.(L) 5 Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory,(M) overshadowing the atonement cover.(N) But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.
6 When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly(O) into the outer room to carry on their ministry. 7 But only the high priest entered(P) the inner room,(Q) and that only once a year,(R) and never without blood,(S) which he offered for himself(T) and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.(U) 8 The Holy Spirit was showing(V) by this that the way(W) into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still functioning. 9 This is an illustration(X) for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered(Y) were not able to clear the conscience(Z) of the worshiper. 10 They are only a matter of food(AA) and drink(AB) and various ceremonial washings(AC)—external regulations(AD) applying until the time of the new order.
The Blood of Christ
11 But when Christ came as high priest(AE) of the good things that are now already here,[a](AF) he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle(AG) that is not made with human hands,(AH) that is to say, is not a part of this creation. 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves;(AI) but he entered the Most Holy Place(AJ) once for all(AK) by his own blood,(AL) thus obtaining[b] eternal redemption. 13 The blood of goats and bulls(AM) and the ashes of a heifer(AN) sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. 14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit(AO) offered himself(AP) unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences(AQ) from acts that lead to death,[c](AR) so that we may serve the living God!(AS)
15 For this reason Christ is the mediator(AT) of a new covenant,(AU) that those who are called(AV) may receive the promised(AW) eternal inheritance(AX)—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.(AY)
16 In the case of a will,[d] it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, 17 because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living. 18 This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood.(AZ) 19 When Moses had proclaimed(BA) every command of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves,(BB) together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people.(BC) 20 He said, “This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep.”[e](BD) 21 In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies. 22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood,(BE) and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.(BF)
23 It was necessary, then, for the copies(BG) of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one;(BH) he entered heaven itself,(BI) now to appear for us in God’s presence.(BJ) 25 Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place(BK) every year with blood that is not his own.(BL) 26 Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world.(BM) But he has appeared(BN) once for all(BO) at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.(BP) 27 Just as people are destined to die once,(BQ) and after that to face judgment,(BR) 28 so Christ was sacrificed once(BS) to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time,(BT) not to bear sin,(BU) but to bring salvation(BV) to those who are waiting for him.(BW)
