³What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

⁹What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;^(A)
there is nothing new under the sun.

⁹The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

¹⁴I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.^(A)

¹⁴I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
