Esther Saves the Jews

8 On that day King Ahasuerus gave to Queen Esther the house of Haman, ^(A)the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came before the king, for Esther had told ^(B)what he was to her.

^10 (A)the ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, ^(B)the enemy of the Jews, ^(C)but they laid no hand on the plunder.

²⁴ For Haman the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, ^(A)the enemy of all the Jews, ^(B)had plotted against the Jews to destroy them, and ^(C)had cast Pur (that is, cast lots), to crush and to destroy them.
