9 Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and (A)seventy of the elders of Israel (B)went up, 10 and they (C)saw the God of Israel. There was under his feet as it were a pavement of (D)sapphire stone, like the very heaven for clearness. 11 And he did not lay his hand on the chief men of the people of Israel; they beheld God, and (E)ate and drank.

9 Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders(A) of Israel went up 10 and saw(B) the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of lapis lazuli,(C) as bright blue as the sky.(D) 11 But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw(E) God, and they ate and drank.(F)
