17 “This annual ‘Celebration with Unleavened Bread’ will cause you always to remember today as the day when I brought you out of the land of Egypt; so it is a law that you must celebrate this day annually, generation after generation. 18 Only bread without yeast may be eaten from the evening of the fourteenth day of the month until the evening of the twenty-first day of the month. 19 For these seven days there must be no trace of yeast in your homes; during that time anyone who eats anything that has yeast in it shall be excommunicated from the congregation of Israel. These same rules apply to foreigners who are living among you just as much as to those born in the land.

17 “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread,(A) because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt.(B) Celebrate this day as a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.(C) 18 In the first month(D) you are to eat bread made without yeast, from the evening of the fourteenth day until the evening of the twenty-first day. 19 For seven days no yeast is to be found in your houses. And anyone, whether foreigner(E) or native-born, who eats anything with yeast in it must be cut off(F) from the community of Israel.
