Exodus 22:26-28

26 You might take their cloak to make sure they pay the money back, but you must give that cloak back to them before sunset. 27 That cloak might be their only protection against the cold when they lie down to sleep. If they call to me for help, I will listen because I am kind.

26 If you take your neighbor’s cloak as a pledge,(A) return it by sunset, 27 because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can they sleep in?(B) When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.(C)
28 “Do not blaspheme God[a](D) or curse(E) the ruler of your people.(F)
