¹⁷ And the appearance of the glory of Yahweh was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain to the eyes of^[a] the Israelites.^{[b] 18} And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and he went up the mountain, and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
