6 He said also, “(A)I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” (B)Then Moses hid his face, for he was (C)afraid to look at God.
7 And Yahweh said, “I have surely (D)seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sufferings. 8 So I have come down (E)to deliver them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up from that land to a (F)good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of (G)the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite.

6 Then he said, “I am the God of your father,[a] the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.”(A) At this, Moses hid(B) his face, because he was afraid to look at God.(C)
7 The Lord said, “I have indeed seen(D) the misery(E) of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned(F) about their suffering.(G) 8 So I have come down(H) to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land,(I) a land flowing with milk and honey(J)—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites(K) and Jebusites.(L)
