When Aaron saw that, he made an Altar before it: and Aaron proclaimed, saying, Tomorrow shall be the holy day of the Lord.

So they rose up the next day in the morning, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings: also (A)the people sat them down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

¶ Then the Lord said unto Moses, (B)Go get thee down: for thy people which thou hast brought out of the land of Egypt, hath corrupted their ways.

When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced, “Tomorrow there will be a festival(A) to the Lord.” So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings.(B) Afterward they sat down to eat and drink(C) and got up to indulge in revelry.(D)

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go down, because your people, whom you brought up out of Egypt,(E) have become corrupt.(F)
