Exodus 37:6-9
New American Standard Bible
6 He also made [a]an atoning cover of pure gold, two and a half cubits [b]long and one and a half cubits [c]wide. 7 And he made two cherubim of gold; he made them of hammered work [d]at the two ends of the atoning cover: 8 one cherub [e]at the one end and one cherub [f]at the other end; he made the cherubim of one piece with the atoning cover [g]at the two ends. 9 And the cherubim had their wings spread upward, covering the atoning cover with their wings, with their faces toward each other; the faces of the cherubim were toward the atoning cover.

New International Version
6 He made the atonement cover(A) of pure gold—two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. 7 Then he made two cherubim(B) out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover. 8 He made one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; at the two ends he made them of one piece with the cover. 9 The cherubim had their wings spread upward, overshadowing(C) the cover with them. The cherubim faced each other, looking toward the cover.(D)
