³⁰ So Moses went out from Pharaoh and ^(A)entreated the Lord.

³³ So Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh and ^(A)spread out his hands to the Lord; then the thunder and the hail ceased, and the rain was not poured on the earth.

¹⁸ So he ^(A)went out from Pharaoh and entreated the Lord.

^11 (A)Then Moses pleaded with ^[a]the Lord his God, and said: “Lord, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

^16 [a]Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. ^(A)The effective, ^[b]fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. ¹⁷ Elijah was a man ^(B)with a nature like ours, and ^(C)he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. ¹⁸ And he prayed ^(D)again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
