³⁶ “Make a plate^(A) of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal: holy to the Lord.^{(B) 37} Fasten a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban; it is to be on the front of the turban.

⁹ Then he placed the turban^(A) on Aaron’s head and set the gold plate, the sacred emblem,^(B) on the front of it, as the Lord commanded Moses.^(C)

⁷ Even if their own father or mother or brother or sister dies, they must not make themselves ceremonially unclean^(A) on account of them, because the symbol of their dedication to God is on their head.
