39 “And you, ^(A)son of man, ^(B)prophesy against ^(C)Gog and say, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, ^(D)I am against you, O Gog, ^(E)chief prince of ^(F)Meshech^[a] and ^(G)Tubal.

^2 (A)And I will turn you about and drive you forward,^[a] and bring you up from ^(B)the uttermost parts of the north, and lead you against the ^(C)mountains of Israel.

^4 (A)You shall fall on ^(B)the mountains of Israel, you and all your ^(C)hordes and the peoples who are with you. ^(D)I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

⁵ You shall fall in the open field, for ^(A)I have spoken, declares the Lord God.
