5 Now there was a wall surrounding the outside of the temple.(A) The measuring rod in the man’s hand was six units of 21 inches;[a] each unit was the standard length plus three inches.[b] He measured the thickness of the wall structure; it was about 10 feet,[c] and its height was the same.[d]

Outside Dimensions of the Temple Complex
15 When he finished measuring inside the temple complex, he led me out by way of the gate that faced east and measured all around the complex.(A)
16 He measured the east side with a measuring rod;
it was 875 feet[a] by the measuring rod.[b]
17 He[c] measured the north side;
it was 875 feet[d] by the measuring rod.[e]
18 He[f] measured the south side;
it was 875 feet[g] by the measuring rod.[h]
19 Then he turned to the west side
and measured 875 feet[i] by the measuring rod.[j]
