³ When he brought me there, behold, there was ^(A)a man whose appearance was ^(B)like bronze, with ^(C)a linen cord and ^(D)a measuring reed in his hand. And he was standing in the gateway.

¹⁶ Therefore, thus says the Lord, ^(A)I have returned to Jerusalem with mercy; ^(B)my house shall be built in it, declares the Lord of hosts, and ^(C)the measuring line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem.

A Vision of a Man with a Measuring Line
