As for the (A)prince, he shall sit in it as prince to (B)eat bread before the Lord; he shall (C)enter by way of the (D)porch of the gate and shall go out [a]by the same way.”

Then He brought me by way of the (E)north gate to the front of the house; and I looked, and behold, the (F)glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord, and I (G)fell on my face. And the Lord said to me, “Son of man, [b](H)pay attention, see with your eyes and hear with your ears everything that I say to you concerning all the (I)statutes of the house of the Lord and all its laws; and [c]pay attention to the entrance of the house, with all the exits of the sanctuary.

The prince himself is the only one who may sit inside the gateway to eat in the presence(A) of the Lord. He is to enter by way of the portico of the gateway and go out the same way.(B)

Then the man brought me by way of the north gate(C) to the front of the temple. I looked and saw the glory of the Lord filling the temple(D) of the Lord, and I fell facedown.(E)

The Lord said to me, “Son of man, look carefully, listen closely and give attention to everything I tell you concerning all the regulations and instructions regarding the temple of the Lord. Give attention to the entrance(F) to the temple and all the exits of the sanctuary.(G)
