GOD’S WORD Translation
11 But the water in the swamps and marshes won’t become fresh. It will remain salty. 12 All kinds of fruit trees will grow on both sides of the river. Their leaves won’t wither, and they won’t fail to produce fruit. Each month they will produce fresh fruit because this water flows from the holy place. The fruit will be good food, and the leaves will be used for healing.”
Dividing the Land for the Lord’s People
13 This is what the Almighty Lord says: These are the borders of the land that is to be divided among the 12 tribes of Israel. Joseph gets two parts.

11 But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt.(A) 12 Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river.(B) Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit(C) fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary(D) flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.(E)”

13 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “These are the boundaries(F) of the land that you will divide among the twelve tribes of Israel as their inheritance, with two portions for Joseph.(G)
